The Head, The Titos, and Keith Slettedahl

Friday, September 29th at Boggs Social & Supply: The Head, The Titos, and Keith Slettedahl

9/29 | 8PM | $12ADV/$15DOS | 21+

THE HEAD

Brothers Mike Shaw (bass, vocals) and Jack Shaw (drums) and Jacob Morrell (guitars) have been jamming together since high school, writing and performing original songs inspired by the bands they love: trippy Brits like The Stone Roses, Spiritualized, Ride, The Verve and Echo and the Bunnymen, and moody Americans like The National, Scott Walker and early R.E.M.

THE TITOS

The Titos blend the musical traditions of the south — blues, gospel, a little country — with hip-hop cadences and rock-and-roll attitude. Guitarist and Atlanta native Alex Lotito writes and sings the songs. His vocals are as warm and prickly as bottom-shelf whiskey — and they’ll draw you in just the same.

KEITH SLETTEDAHL

Keith Slettedahl is an American songwriter/musician from Los Angeles, CA.  As one of the founding members and lead singer of the pop rock band The 88, Keith’s songs have garnered fans for their infectious catchiness tempered with rough edges and complex phrasing, all anchored by his distinct vocals.
